Ukraine will create all the conditions for investors to work
comfortably and effectively, President Viktor Yanukovych said in New
York during a meeting with U.S. businessmen. The President invited the
businessmen to active cooperation. He stressed that Ukraine is currently
through regulatory reform, which aims to reduce the permit system by
about 90%. "We are talking about a revolution in this area," he said, ForUm learned from the press office of the president.
According to Viktor Yanukovych, the Ukrainian government is well aware
that creating the conditions for investors to work comfortably and
efficiently is beneficial for Ukraine itself. "We will be creating a
system meeting modern European standards at the legislative level," he
said.
The President of Ukraine stressed that the reforms being
implemented in Ukraine are aimed at ensuring transparent rules and
equal conditions to businessmen. "I would like to assure you: the path
of reforms that Ukraine has chosen will continuously improve working
conditions for investors. It is our goal," he said.

Yanukovych stressed that the principle of public-private partnership is
already working in Ukraine, and its application will only spread.
The meeting was attended by representatives of a number of leading U.S.
companies working in such areas as energy, agriculture, banking, etc.
