All insecure mines will be equipped with automatic security system, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told a briefing in Sumy regions.
He noted that this system had already passed an operating test in 118 mines.
"We have decided to allocate necessary means and to equip during the year 2012 all the insecure mines in Ukraine. This security system will help to eliminate influence of human agency and to increase objectivity. Despite of a decision of mine authorities, the system will help miners out of the place and will switch off power sources," Azarov informed.
In the future all mines will be equipped with such system, the PM promised.
