President Viktor Yanukovych had a meeting with Director General of the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozak.
As Volodymyr Kozak said after the meeting, the President had instructed him to ensure that passenger railway transportation costs are reduced and travel comfort is maximum for passengers. The President also instructed to address all the enterprises’ needs in the transportation of goods. He said a relevant program would be elaborated soon.
"The country's economy should work, and rail transport should not be a limiting factor in this process. In particular, it is necessary to develop a program of upgrading the stock of Ukrainian Railroads," Volodymyr Kozak said.
