Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko has
informed President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich on the progress of
Ukraine's negotiations with the European Union.
"We have made a serious progress in negotiations on both the FTA, and on the Association Agreement in general. There is a series of measures to eventually give new impetus to these negotiations in the second half of this year," Kostyantyn Gryshchenko said after the meeting with President Yanukovych in Crimea.
The Minister has also briefed the President of Ukraine on the preparations for the fifth session of the Ukrainian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission. "I have reported on the preparation for holding this event in Ukraine," Minister Gryshchenko said.
