Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyer, Serhiy Vlasenko, has said that the U.S. law
firm Covington & Burling LLP and the BDO audit firm in the nearest
future will prepare a report on the results of an examination of the
facts related to the gas agreements of 2009.
"Covington & Burling and BDO are studying the gas case against Tymoshenko and in the nearest future we expect their report on the gas case. We will attempt to attach it to the case materials. We will use this report at the European Court of Human Rights and in all other possible means," Serhiy Vlasenko said at a press conference, according to Tymoshenkos official website.
Serhiy Vlasenko said that representatives of Covington & Burling and BDO will serve as Yulia Tymoshenko's legal advisers.
"I must state for the record that company representatives of Covington & Burling and BDO will be part of the group of legal advisors who will be working and are already working on all the cases against Yulia Tymoshenko. And certainly, Covington & Burling, together with other lawyers will represent Tymoshenko during consideration of her complaint at the European Court of Human Rights," he said.
