The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has again denied Yulia Tymoshenko’s request to travel to the Kharkiv oblast, Tymoshenko's official website reports.
"They are categorically not allowing me to speak with people in the regions," Yulia Tymoshenko said after leaving the PGO today. "We again made the categorical demand to allow me to go to the Kharkiv oblast so that I could respond to the invitation of people whose schools and hospitals are being closed, whose pensions are being calculated incorrectly. They are inviting me as the leader of an opposition party to help them."
Yulia Tymoshenko highlighted that in her second request to visit Kharkiv she asked the investigator to determine the date of her trip. "But it’s important for them to restrict my political work. Their plan is to prevent an opposition party leader from uniting people, from defending them and working," she said.
