The Verkhovna Rada made a clarification to the law on the principles of preventing and combating corruption in Ukraine, concerning the declaration of expenses by public officials.

If during the reporting year public officials conducted expenses that exceed UAH 150,000 (USD 1 - UAH 7.97), they should be subject to mandatory monitoring, UKRINFORM  reports.

Moreover, in the income declaration civil servants should separately indicate property which is privately owned and leased property.

As reported, the Ukrainian parliament on April 7 passed in whole a bill submitted by the President on the principles of preventing and combating corruption in Ukraine.
