The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine expects to attract an additional river fleet to transport guests of the UEFA European Football Championship in 2012, the press-service of the ministry reported, according to UKRINFORM.
In particular, for the transportation of tourists along the Dnieper, additional passenger fleet of domestic and foreign carriers will be involved. Kyiv - Tarasova Hora (Kaniv) was identified as one of the priority routes, as well as restoration of passenger shipping by the Desna toward Chernihiv.
An appropriate decision was taken by the state service of sea and river transport.
