The construction of the main UEFA EURO 2012 facilities will be completed in 2011, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said during his working visit to Kherson region (southern Ukraine).
Last year, according to Yanukovych, everything was done to eliminate the delay in preparations for the UEFA EURO 2012 European Football Championship. "We got back on schedule in 2010 and are currently ahead of schedule. In 2011, we will 99% complete the construction of all facilities for EURO 2012, and in 2012 we will work on other issues, first and foremost, organizational issues," the president said, UKRINFORM reported.
Kyiv, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Lviv in Ukraine were chosen to host the finals of the UEFA EURO 2012 European Football Championship.
