The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is ready to provide practical assistance to Ukraine in implementing the recommendations of international election observers, including the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR).

OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine Lubomir Kopaj announced this at a meeting with Ukrainian First Deputy Justice Minister Inna Yemelyanova, which was held as part of preparations for the next meeting of the working group on improving the electoral legislation.

Kopaj said that the OSCE would also assist in organizing the necessary media support to the activities of the working group, conducting roundtables and providing the necessary expert assistance, UKRINFORM reported CITING the press service of the Ukrainian Justice Ministry.

Concrete measures on practical OSCE assistance are to be discussed at the next meeting of the working group on improving the electoral legislation, which is scheduled for January 27, 2011.
