Unpopular reforms in Ukraine may continue for another 3-5 months. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy Serhiy Tihipko in an interview with TV Channel 5, UKRINFORM reported.

Then, according to him, in some 4-6 months, it will be necessary to modify some aspects of the new tax legislation.

Basically there will be some positive things to improve the situation for businesses in the first place, Tihipko said. He added that the forthcoming 2012 parliamentary elections would generally change the political logic.

Serhiy Tihipko also said that he continued supervising the block of economic issues in the government. He intends to complete work on tax legislation, all that relates to deregulation, and to lay the basis for tariff legislation.

And then, Tihipko said, he will give over these "difficult questions" to the vice-premiers and ministers in charge.
