Yulia Tymoshenko has once again been summoned for questioning at the Prosecutor General’s Office. She is set to appear at the PGO today, Dec. 24, at 3pm.

On Dec. 20, Yulia Tymoshenko was charged with "acting intentionally and in her own personal interests" when "single-handedly deciding" in the midst of the global financial and economic crisis of "using part of the money obtained from the sale of greenhouse gas emissions quotas to cover budget expenditures, especially commitments to pay pensions."

The PGO has asked that she not leave Kyiv.

Yulia Tymoshenko has called the allegations against her absurd. Speaking to the press after the last round of questioning, she said charges that she committed a crime by paying pensions during the crisis "have nothing to do with justice and a fair investigation."
