The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved a loan of 450 million euros to Ukraine for resettlement of road entrances to Kyiv and completion of the Kyiv-Chop road reconstruction.

This was reported by Anton Usov, chief adviser on external relations of the EBRD office in Kyiv, according to UKRINFORM.

On November 11, EBRD Director in Ukraine Andre Kuusvek said that the EBRD plans to send to UkrAvtoDor in 2010 the first tranche of 250 million euros for the repair of access roads to Kyiv. The total cost of the project was estimated at 1.15 billion dollars, and beside the EBRD, a loan of 450 million dollars may also be provided by the European Investment Bank.
