Microsoft is ready to cooperate with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the country's preparations for the UEFA EURO 2012 European Football Championship, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said at a meeting with Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Borys Kolesnikov on Friday, according to UKRINFORM.

Kolesnikov noted that Ukraine already had the positive experience of work with the corporation at the Donbass Arena stadium in Donetsk. He said that two stadiums were currently being completed in Kyiv and Lviv and that work was underway to select top management that will directly work with Microsoft.

Kolesnikov said that the government was also interested in cooperation with the corporation at three new airports that are to be commissioned. "If your corporation can participate in the introduction of information technology for the airports, then our doors are open," the deputy prime minister said.

Steve Ballmer, in turn, said that such international events were very important to the corporation and that having experience at the Olympic Games and other events of this kind, it would do everything to support efforts in this area.
