The prices of secondary real estate in Ukraine will drop by 15% till the spring of 2011, according to Oleksandr Rubanov, president of the Union of Ukrainian Real Estate Experts.

He noted that today there is a steady downward trend in prices for all market segments, and this trend will continue at least until spring. "The lowest price in the secondary market [Kyiv - ed.] now makes USD 1,500-1,600 per square meter," says the head of the National Council of the Realtor Chamber of Ukraine, Oleksandr Bondarenko.

In March 2011, as the realtors forecast, one-room apartment in the capital can be bought for USD 30,000-35,000.
