In his opening remarks, President said: "Now, the time has come for us to work out together a concept of healthcare system that we are able to realize at this stage."
According to him, it is necessary to provide in the concept of reforming the medical sector those prospects that would be able to improve the system from year to year.
According to the president, now the question is about three areas in which the pilot projects will be launched as part of reforming the healthcare sector. In addition to Kirovohrad region, these are also Vinnytsia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. "We start working in these regions," the head of state said.
As part of his visit, Yanukovych also attended the opening ceremony for the international passenger terminal of the Kirovohrad Airport. In additiona, he also unveiled LLC Scientific-Production Enterprise Radiy, which produces and introduces electronic equipment for the automated process control systems for nuclear power plants, and opened Radiological Department of the Kirovohrad Regional Oncology Center.
