Ukraine may receive 450 million euros as a loan
of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the
arrangement of road entrances to Kyiv and completion of reconstruction
of the Kyiv-Chop M-06 road.
The EBRD board is planning to
consider the issue on September 28 this year, NRCU reported. The total cost of the
effort is estimated at 1.15 billion euros, and in addition to the EBRD,
the same loan of 450 million euros will be provided by the European
Investment Bank.
According to the project, the borrower is the state,
and the recipient of the funds is public roads service Ukravtodor. The
EBRD office in Kyiv specified that in case of successful promotion of
the project, the first tranche may come to Ukraine as early as this
year.
