In his letter to President Viktor Yanukovych, President of the USA Barack Obama once again praised historic decision of Ukraine to get rid of its remains of highly enriched uranium.
"It was a respectful decision that should serve as an example for the world," reads the letter. It also states that the worked out communiqué and action plan are a solid foundation to rely on while achieving the goals of the Washington Summit.
President Obama also mentioned that the next summit will be held in 2012 in Korea. "I suggest we start work now for this summit to be a success," says Barack Obama.
"I would like to address you with a request that Ukraine persuaded others, especially those we could not invite to the summit, to accept the views of Washington Nuclear Security Summit," states Barack Obama’s letter to Ukrainian President.
