BYuT is calling for a change in the leadership of parliamentary
committees as stipulated by the law.
"Today our faction decided to withdraw all its committee heads, deputy heads and secretaries in order to start reformatting the committees, which we want to do within a week," BYuT’s leader in parliament, Ivan Kyrylenko, said today.
The parliamentarian noted that a unique situation has developed in Ukraine – the presidential administration, cabinet, parliament, National Bank and law enforcement are all in the hands of one group.
Ivan Kyrylenko insisted that the law on rules of parliamentary procedures be upheld and that the opposition be afforded its legal right to control the government.
