President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has reduced his salary by 50%, deputy head of presidential administration Anna Herman told journalists. “The president has reduced his salary by 50%,” she said.
Herman also reminded that with his first decree Yanukovych reduced expenses for presidential staff by 20%. She expressed an opinion that the president would continue this policy regarding regional administrations.
“Reduction of staff, official transport, salary, and this money will go on increase of minimal pensions and salaries,” she said.
