The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated 14 million hryvnias to the
National Television Company of Ukraine for the broadcasting of the 2010
Winter Olympics, which will be held in Vancouver, Canada.
"We will make sure that the games are broadcasted, and we’re currently working on the technical details for allocating the necessary funds," Minister of Family, Youth and Sports Yuriy Pavlenko announced today in the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Winter Olympics will take place from February 12-28, 2010 in Vancouver. Ukraine will be represented by 47 athletes, competing in 9 out of 15 sports.
