The Central Election Commission has processed 100% of electronic protocols.

According to the results, Viktor Yanukovych won 35.32% (8,686,751 votes) in the first round of the presidential election, while Yulia Tymoshenko received 25.05% (6,159,829 votes).

Serhiy Tihipko won 13.06% (3,211,257 votes), Arseniy Yatseniuk 6.96% (1,711,749 votes), Viktor Yushchenko 5.45% (1,341,539 votes), Petro Symonenko 3.55% (872,908 votes), Volodymyr Lytvyn 2.35% (578,886 votes), Oleh Tiahnybok 1.43% (352,282 votes), Anatoliy Hrytsenko 1.2% (296,413 votes), and Inna Bohoslovska 0.41% (102,435 votes).

A total of 2.2% of Ukrainians voted against all presidential candidates.

The law on the presidential election foresees that the Central Election Commission should announce the official results of the January 17 voting no later than January 27.

Yanukovych and Tymoshenko, who together won the most votes in the first round, will face a run-off vote on February 7.
