President wrote a letter to Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, in which he said that in accordance with the information from the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, on December 18, 2009 only 0.6% of the funds required in 2009 were provided for the expenditures within the framework of preparation to 2010 Presidential election.
“To ensure constitutional electoral rights of citizens of Ukraine I ask to take immediate measures to fully allocate the funds to cover expenditures of the Central Election Commission and district election commissions”, said Viktor Yushchenko in the letter.
