September 24 Ukraine received USD 400 million from the World Bank within the Loan Program for rehabilitation of the financial sector. Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said during the meeting with WB Vice President Philippe Le Houerou.
Tymoshenko thanked the WB authorities for the support of the financial sector of Ukraine. “It is very important for Ukraine, for the banking system,” she said.
As a reminder, the World Bank granted USD 400 million as the first part of the loan directed to recovering of Ukraine’s banking system during the crisis period.
