On August 19-23 in Velyki Sorochyntsi village in Poltava oblast the Sorochyntsi fair will take place, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
The Sorochyntsi fair is a "nationwide event" it plays an important role in popularizing of Ukrainian products and is important for the people from different regions and with different political preferences.
The works and products of the Ukrainian culture and life will be presented at the fair. Master classes of pottery, smith, embroidery, straw and other art will be held.
The expositions of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Hungary and Uzbekistan will be also presented at the fair. The visitors will be able to taste different eastern spicery and sweeties, cuisine of different countries.
Different folk music band will entertain the guest of the fair.
This year, the Sorochyntsi fair will take place under the sign of 200th anniversary of Mykola Gogol’s birthday.
