The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko declares increase of the statutory capital of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC is joined with strengthening of the national joint-stock company in the period of financial-economic crisis. She informed during a press-conference on the outcomes of the Government’s sitting, according to government portal.
“We should up the statutory capital just once so that to make Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC a powerful structure, including in the area of communication with world financial organizations and with Ukrainian banks,” Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized.
The Premier underlined in case the Parliament approves the Law on increase of statutory capital of Naftogaz, “this decision will be very positive for the company under the crisis conditions, as in fact in such a way the present crisis financial gaps can be covered”.
Thereupon, Yulia Tymoshenko noted despite the complicated economical conditions and untimely payments for gas by teplocomunenerho enterprises, Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC has no any debts to the Russian Gazprom. At the same time, the Head of Government stressed one problem issue remains paying off a UAH 26 billion debt by regional private energy supply and communal heat supply companies to the Naftogaz. “I would like someone of the local authorities in the Verkhovna Rada to give a response to the question: how can we cover these debts to Naftogaz so that Naftogaz could pay along all its liabilities,” Yulia Tymoshenko urged.
