Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has accused the Cabinet of Ministers of violating funding provisions for work to prepare the country to host Euro 2012 finals, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

"We can't even speak about hosting Euro 2012 when we have UAH 4.5 billion stipulated in the budget [for this purpose], but only UAH 330 million allocated," the president said while presenting his constitutional amendments to Kharkiv students and professors on Wednesday.

Apart from that Yuschenko said that some UAH 2.5 billion was to be allocated to fund transport infrastructure, but as of May 20 only UAH 30 million had been spent on Ukraine's roads.

The president said that he had discussed these issues with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko at a recent meeting.
