Today, at 11:00 a.m. a meeting of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko took place and lasted for one and a half hours, according to government portal.

The Premier announced the talk held a constructive character. In particular, they discussed ways of stirring up activity of the Government and NBU in solving a problem of bank’s recapitalization. Yulia Tymoshenko and Viktor Yushchenko made a detailed analysis of financial balancing of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, purchase of Russian gas being stored in underground storages for the needs of autumn-winter period and its transit to the European consumers.

The event also dealt with considering a situation with financing reconstruction and building of significant objects of cultural heritage, including the Arsenal Art Complex.

The Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko together with the President Viktor Yushchenko paid a special attention to an issue of search of ways to finance building of Euro-2012 objects in the face of the global financial recession.

“A team work is being maintained between the President and Prime Minister in order to solve these problems. Professional advice and support of the President will assist the Government in these hard times,” Yulia Tymoshenko noted.
