During its extraordinary sitting the Government has approved Resolution “On allocation of funds to hold urgent measures directed to liquidation of consequences of the natural disaster which occurred in Volyn region on June 10 of 2009”, government portal reported.
Under the Ordinance, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy receives UAH 17.203 million, UAH 6203.5 thousand out of which – for payment of partial pecuniary aid to needy families, UAH 6000 thousand – for restoring buildings of budget institutions and blocks of flats, UAH 5000 thousand – for partial reimbursement of losses to agricultural enterprises.
From the budget funds will be paid an advance of UAH 25 thousand for the first category of the families whose house (flat) has been ruined or cannot be restored, property and agricultural production in kitchen gardens and land plots have been lost. Final sums of assistance will be paid taking into account direct cost of housing in the amount of UAH 3850 per square meter of total area of a building.
The second category of citizens (roofs of houses are to be replaced, building to be repaired, property and agricultural production has been lost) will receive UAH 10 thousand each, while the third category (partially damaged houses or other property) – UAH 3 thousand.
Other families who suffered only loss of their agricultural production will obtain UAH 50 per are, but not exceeding 30 ares.
Compensation will be also paid to agricultural enterprises – UAH 1500 per ha of production.
In addition, pursuant to the Ordinance the Minister of Family, Youth and Sports has been empowered to ensure invigoration of children from the suffered families in children’s camps at the account of funds of the State Budget.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, all necessary changes into the State Budget will be included by the Government at its regular sitting on Wednesday.
