President Victor Yushchenko paid a working visit to Luhansk region on June 3.
In Luhansk President Victor Yushchenko took part in the opening of "The eastern gate of Ukraine" international economic exhibition dedicated to the 71st anniversary of Luhansk region establishment, president’s press office reported.
Speaking at the event President Yushchenko congratulated Luhansk region inhabitants on the holiday and also thanked everyone who contributed to organization of the exhibition.
The President also visited family-type orphanage organized by Skirdiny family.
In scope of the visit the President visited Luhansk region Philharmonic Society which is being renovated.
Viсtor Yushchenko was told about the reconstruction and talked briefly with leading artists, and intellectuals of the region.
