On commission of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko a Governmental commission has been set up to investigate the reasons and liquidate consequences of explosions in a department of Oshchadbank in Melitopol of Zaporizhyzhya region, led by the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Turchynov, government portal reported.
The commission comprised representatives of Ministries of Emergencies, Internal Affairs, Health Protection and also General Prosecutor’s Office.
On commission of Olexandr Turchynov representatives of the commission departed to the place of incident in the morning and every half-hour are informing about their activity to the First Vice Prime Minister.
The regional administration, Ministry of Health, MES in Zaporizhzhya region were empowered to take all necessary measures to provide victims with medicine and necessities.
MIA together with General Prosecutor’s Office have started investigating the accident which caused injuries to 25 people, three out of whom are staying in reanimation. No threat is posed to the lives of victims.
