The first vice PM of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov considers that initiative of the President Viktor Yushchenko to hold national referendum on changes to the Constitution has no perspectives.
“Kuchma in his time initiated such referendums. And how it ended?” Turchynov said, ForUm’s correspondent informs.
As a reminder, Viktor Yushchenko does not exclude the possibility of national referendum on adoption of changes into the Constitution. “If the political forces manipulate the Constitution, I will set national referendum,” Yushchenko said.
