Ukraine and Russia will find mutual understanding on supply and transit of the Russian gas, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko says.
“Today we have possibility to discuss cooperation on gas supplies and transit. I am sure we will find understanding,” Tymoshenko said at the beginning of today’s meeting with the PM of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in Astana, ForUm informs, referring to Interfax Ukraine.
Tymoshenko noted that the solution of this issue is important for everybody: for Ukraine, Russia and the EU. “I think we can solve this issue,” she added.
According to Tymoshenko, in the recent times between Ukraine and Russia there are very constructive relations. Tymoshenko added that in crisis conditions cooperation between the two countries has additional importance.
