General Governor of Canada Michaëlle Jean has highly evaluated activity of the Government of Ukraine and Prime Minister of Ukraine personally, as well as the result achieved by Yulia Tymoshenko in the talks with the International Monetary Fund with regards to the second tranche of the loan. General Governor of Canada announced in the course of her meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister, ForUm informs, referring to the governmnet portal.
During the talks the parties have considered a possibility to broaden bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Canada along various directions.
“There exists a special connection between Ukraine and Canada. We have what to discuss and to built our plans on with regards to development of our cooperation and I pin hopes on strengthening cooperation between our states,” Yulia Tymoshenko stated.
General Governor of Canada Michaëlle Jean, in her turn, noted in the course of her Ukraine’s visit she personally and members of led by her delegation are planning to weigh all the possibilities concerning broadening of cooperation with Ukraine.
