A member of the Central Election Commission Mykhaylo Okhendovskyi considers that after the Constitution Court of Ukraine considers the issue on constitutionality of the appointment of the presidential election for October 25, the CCU will clear all doubts on the election date. He said that today in an interview to ForUm’s correspondent.

“I am convinced that possible appeal of the President to the Court is too much dramatized,” he said.

“This decision of the CCU is necessary not even this or that political force, or potential candidate to the President, but it is necessary for each citizen of Ukraine.

Commenting on the issue on readiness of the CEC to presidential election, Okhendovskyi said that CEC is always ready for election if it is appointed and held in accordance with the Constitution.

Speaking about financing of the election, he said that if the VRU was able to vote for appointment of the presidential election with 401 votes, that it will be able to vote for changes into the state budget concerning the election financing.
