The parliament adopted a draft resolution on appointment of presidential elections on October 25, 2009. The ForUm’s correspondent informs.
401 MPs voted for such decision: PR – 174, BYuT – 155, OU-PSD – 26, CPU – 27, Lytvyn bloc – 19.
As a reminder, different draft resolutions offered to hold presidential election on different dates: on October 25, December 27 and January 17, 2010.
The majority of the politicians and experts were for elections to be held on January 17, 2010.
