Heletey, head of the State Guards Service of Ukraine, claims that the
criminal case on attempt on Yulia Tymoshenko’s life, which was opened
in 2006, has not been closed as yet.
He said this in an interview with Kommersant-Ukraine daily (#196 of October 31).
“Without revealing the secret of investigation, I may state that the criminal case is under investigation, there is a suspect, and respective expertises have been carried out”, he said.
According to V.Heletey, at present their task is to find and arrest the suspect.
He also noted that, since 2006, the Prime Minister has been guarded in a strengthened regime.
