Tymoshenko told a press
conference after the Cabinet’s session.
According to the Premier,
there was an attempt to impose an opinion on the society that BYuT is ready to
abandon its ideological principles and not to support the position that the
Ukrainian language is the only state language.
“BYuT and me personally
have been standing and will stand for the position on that the Ukrainian
language is the only state language,” Tymoshenko noted and added she does not
want anyone to doubt this position.
The Premier also said that
all draft bills submitted for voting will be supported by BYuT only from the
position of that the Ukrainian language is the only state language.
