Top deputy head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksander Yefremov claimed at a Conciliatory Council meeting on Monday that the faction has officially appointed a group of people who will hold talks with other factions of parliament on creating a new coalition.

The lawmaker pointed out that MP Andriy Klyuyev will hold talks with BYuT, MP Borys Kolesnikov – with OU-PSD, MP Mykola Azarov – with the Communist faction, and MP Oleksander Yefremov – with the Lytvyn’s Bloc.

O.Yefremov pointed out that the statement was issued to officially inform Verkhovna Rada factions who they should turn to if they want to hold talks with the Party of Regions on creating a new coalition.

According to him, the Party of Regions factions want this process to be “public”.
