Vice Premier Ivan Vasyunyk said that yesterday’s events in the parliament proved BYuT’s refusal to observe the coalition agreement.

BYuT adopted a number of unconstitutional draft bills and refused to take part in the session of the coalition council.

In this connection OU-PSD faction decided to leave the coalition and ministers on OU-PSD quota declared impossibility to take part in today’s session of the government because of the necessity to hold political consultations concerning the future of the democratic coalition.

Vasyunyk underlined that all the ministers continue to perform their duties.

The vice premier considers that it is still possible to return to effective cooperation if the policy of double standards is forgotten and all articles of the coalition agreement are observed.
