Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova can count on support of the EU on their territorial inviolability and sovereignty, Benita Ferrero-Waldner  told on Monday in Bruxelle after the EU Summit devoted to the Georgian conflict.

She stated that the obligations delivered in June on development of Eastern Partnership and EU-neighbourship policy shows logic interest of the EU in the region.

The EU can not allow new lines of demarcation in Europe, the EU's partners, such as Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova can count on support of the EU on their territorial inviolability and sovereignty.

Benita Ferrero-Waldner noted that the EU was ready to carry out all necessary work to deepen the Eastern partnership with the aim "to adopt our decisions as quick as possible."
