Party of Regions criticizing BYuT

The statement of the faction of the party says.

Hence, the party suggests |considering Georgian conflict at the first day of the parliament’s session, estimating of the actions of Ukrainian authorities and working out of measures to return good-neighbouring Ukrainian-Russian relations.”

In addition, the Party of Regions demands to start political consultations concerning changes to the Constitution in order to determine nonaligned status of Ukraine and to prevent high authorities from involving the country into international conflicts.

The party considers it necessary to ban weapon supplies to hot spots, including Georgia.

The party deputies suggest formation of a parliamentary investigative commission for investigation of “the facts of selling Ukrainian weapon to Georgia and participation of Ukrainians in the conflict.”
