During
the period of January - June of 2008 the sum of the national debt and
the debt assured by the state decreased by UAH 2.832 billion (3.19%),
the press service of the Ministry of Finances informs.
Rate of the national debt against to the GDP improves due to the growth of the national economy and reasonable debt policy.
Rate of the national debt and the debt assured by the state as for June 30, 2008, against the GDP of 2008 makes 9,0%. It is admissible from the point of view of the financial safety of the state.
As a reminder, plain external duty of Ukraine in June increased by 0.15% ($16.4 million) and made $10872.9 million.
