The state should not pay for failed work.

BYuT member Svyatoslav Oliynyk expressed his opinion to IMC commenting on the ineffectiveness of the parliament’s work.

Speaking about fining the deputies for ineffective work he said he did not mind such approach. “I don’t mind to fine those deputies who don’t work. I think it is right thing to do.”

“Though on the other hand it is very difficult to decide who worked effectively and who did not. But of course the state does not have to pay for the failed work. The idea is good,” Oliynyk added.

As a reminder, Our Ukraine deputy Yaroslav Dzhodzhyk suggests to introduce fines for sabotage of the parliament’s work and to form a special institution, which would control irresponsible actions of the MPs.

On Friday, July 11, the second session of the parliament was closed and MPs went on holidays. Every deputy will get 35 thousand hryvnias of vacation pay. Altogether it is 15 million hryvnias. 60 million hryvnias more are allotted for the maintenance of parliamentary health resorts.
