Speaker of Parliament Arseniy Yatsenyuk opened and closed the morning session of the Parliament, as ForUm’s correspondent reports.

Yatsenyuk said that the meeting of the faction leaders can take “quite a lot of time” – 1.5-2 hours. ”It seems unlikely we go out with common position,” said the Speaker.

According to him, even if they find a compromise, the agenda will be approved only for tomorrow.

Yatsenyuk offered the people’s deputies to work in the committees today.

After few displeased exclamations of people’s deputies and the requirement to vote this question, the Speaker said:” This question is not voted. If so, sit in the session hall and wait”.

At the end of his speech he said: “I think the today’s plenary sitting must be closed”.

Afterwards, Yatsenyuk went to the sitting of faction leaders.

As ForUm reported earlier, BYuT faction has been blocking the Parliament for two days. The people’s deputies from BYuT demand that the Parliament considered the question about amendments to the state budget 2008.
