The Security Service of Ukraine together with the colleagues from FBI USA found a 20-year old citizen of Ukraine, who sent messages by e-mail with threats of physical removal addressed to Viktor Yushchenko. Acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine Valentyn Nalyvaichenko said in his exclusive interview to Segodnya.
The intruder was found during a short period of time. According to Nalyvaichenko, this is our compatriot, young resident of Luhansk, who was temporarily in Miami. “Thanks to close cooperation of SSU and FBI the intruder was found and questioned, the corresponding procedural actions are carried out now,” said the head of special service.
Nalyvaichenko denied rumors that SSU can “filter” the Ukrainian segment of Internet and said “this is not true and they don’t have such duties and those who thought in a different way “don’t work in his department now”. Moreover, he confirmed that the cases connected with real threats addressed to state officials and made via Net were solved by special service with a 100% result.
