Head of EU on foreign and safety policy Javier Solana estimates as positive the economical development of Ukraine though marks some political instability, he said today to a press after the meeting with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
“Economically, Ukraine is moving very positively, also positive are the growth rates and inflation is under control,” said Solana.
At the same time he marked some problems in the political situation.
“We would like to see more stable political situation, the parliamentary life back to normal," said Solana.
Tymoshenko, in turn, said that the cooperation with EU is successful and the only thing needed is the unity of democratic forces and stability in politics – the President, prime minister and VR majority.
She thanked Solana that he understands the problem of Ukraine and supports the country in its development the democracy.
Tymoshenko mentioned that she inherited 17% inflation and in June Ukraine will have a deflation.
