Today the first session of the newly elected Kyiv city council will be held.
According to the results of the early elections, held in Kyiv on May 25, seven political parties have entered the Kyiv city Council. In particular, the bloc of Leonid Chernovetsky will be represented by 43 deputies, the bloc of Tymoshenko – 32 deputies, the bloc of Klychko – 15 deputies, the bloc of Lytvyn – 11 deputies, the Civil activists of Kyiv – 8 deputies, the Party of Regions – 6 deputies, the bloc of Katerynchuk – 5 deputies.
For a period of 20 days, all elected deputies must apply their refuse from other incompatible positions and their agreement to work in the Kyiv Council.
