The Party of Regions doesn’t intend to initiate resignation of the government of Yulia Tymoshenko and the leadership of the National Bank of Ukraine. People’s deputy from the Party Regions Mykola Azarov stated at a press conference.
“We don’t intend to initiate this question,” he stated.
At the same commenting on the fact that member of the Party of Regions Vladislav Lukyanov registered in the parliament the draft resolution on the government’s resignation, Azarov noted that this is the right of every People’s deputy to perform an legislation initiative and this is the personal position of the People’s deputy.
According to Azarov, the Party of Regions holds the position that the government of Tymoshenko must prove that it is able to implement “unique reforms in the country”.
“People must have a feeling that it is necessary to charge off this political force (the BYuT – ed.) and then it is necessary to raise this question (on resignation – ed.),” the People’s deputy is sure.
“Let’s wait for some time,” he summarized.
