Chairman of the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk considers that the Constitutional reform in Ukraine should be suspended. He stated during the meeting with members of the PACE monitoring committee.
“Nowadays the Constitutional reform is widely used by politicians as the basic instrument in political struggle. The Constitution is the document of a nation, but not of politicians,” the speaker emphasized.
“That's why I think that there is no need to create new form of Constitution, but we should introduce changes into the Constitution which would shut down political holes in the Main law. That will contribute into situation stabilization. And now the process of the Constitutional reform should be suspended,” he added.
